Consultancy / Leadership & Change

Align people and turn agreed change into progress.

Leadership and change support combining experienced judgement, practical delivery, executive coaching and team development.

When you need it

Teams are pulling in different directions, decisions are taking too long or an agreed change needs someone to help lead it through. You may also need additional senior capacity or support developing your leaders.

What could support look like?

  • Fractional leadership: Senior capacity to take responsibility for an agreed area of work, with particular depth in product, technology and engineering.

  • Advisory and change support: Help with difficult decisions, stakeholder engagement, implementation and maintaining momentum.

  • Executive coaching: Individual support for leaders navigating changing responsibilities, complex decisions or pressure.

  • Team alignment and performance: Facilitated work to resolve competing priorities, strengthen collaboration and establish shared goals.

How I work

I listen across organisational levels, clarify expectations and help people agree shared outcomes. I establish responsibilities, decision-making arrangements and regular reviews, then work alongside your team to maintain progress.

I help people understand each other's perspectives and motivations, resolve competing priorities and work towards shared goals. Drawing on business leadership and professional coaching, I adapt my approach to help teams maintain focus and perform under pressure.

Leadership and change delivery

We clarify what needs to change, who needs to be involved and where decisions sit. I can advise your leaders or take responsibility for an agreed area of work, supporting communication, delivery and review as the situation develops.

Executive coaching

We work through real situations you are facing, examining your goals, assumptions and choices. I use questioning, reflection and constructive challenge to help you develop your judgement and decide how to act. We agree the purpose and confidentiality of the coaching relationship at the outset.

Team alignment and performance

Through facilitated sessions, observation and practical discussion, I help teams make expectations explicit, understand different working styles and agree how they will collaborate. Team talks can open a conversation; workshops give people time to apply the ideas to their own priorities and ways of working.

Support can include fractional leadership, executive advice, facilitated alignment, coaching and hands-on change implementation. Product, technology and engineering leadership are particular areas of experience.

What you leave with

Clearer accountability, stronger leadership and a team aligned around shared priorities, better equipped to make decisions and carry the work forward.

Depending on the support agreed, this may include clearer decision arrangements, a practical change plan, individual leadership actions or shared team commitments.

Relevant experience: connecting Board commitments with employee experience

Through the Weir Women's Network, I brought Board and employee perspectives together around commitments to investors and shareholders on inclusion and female representation. The network had been established for more than five years without quantified measures of progress. Interviews and conversations helped clarify success and connect those commitments with practical engagement and change.

Example from previous leadership and network experience.

How we can work together

Ongoing advisory or fractional leadership, a defined change assignment, individual coaching or team workshops. We agree the combination around the business need and the people involved.

Where would experienced support make a difference?
